³Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,

 ⁴so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

 ⁵to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

Years ago, I was inspired to create a newsletter called Mom’s Survival Guide after reading the Tightwad Gazette books. Although I started typing the newsletter and even had my brother design a logo, I had to put off the project because of pregnancy.

By the time I got started again, I’d finally gotten access to a computer and discovered the internet. It occurred to me to try to produce it online but this was way before weblogs and I was just finding out about html so I didn’t have a clue HOW to do it.

When I had learned a substantial amount and even managed to get the website online as a Pivot blog, a house fire halted the progress somewhat and then a major interruption, a college education, started.

FINALLY I am back at home, degree in hand, and have determined to complete what I was inspired to start. Pray for me. It is my sincere desire to help other women who desire to manage their homes and serve their families and the Lord.

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Phillipians 1:6
